I’ve worked with global teams at H&M, PayPal, and Nagarro, and mentored over 300 learners through platforms like Springboard and Texas McCombs. My passion lies in solving complex problems through structured design thinking and user-centric innovation, while fostering design maturity and collaboration within fast-paced cross-functional environments.
I’m Abhinav Paitandy, a UX Designer, Strategist, and Educator with more than 14 years of hands-on experience building enterprise-grade digital experiences for global companies. My expertise lies in leading and delivering scalable, user-centered design systems, creating clear information architectures, and ensuring accessibility compliance across web, mobile, and hybrid platforms.Throughout my career, I’ve worked with global companies such as H&M, PayPal, Nagarro, Pine Labs, and MapmyIndia. At H&M, I led UX strategy for enterprise tools across 77 markets, where I was responsible for translating business complexity into structured, intuitive experiences. My work involved stakeholder discovery, journey mapping, prototyping in Figma, and design system alignment across multiple agile teams. I collaborated closely with engineering, QA, and product leadership to create unified digital workflows, improving internal efficiency and user satisfaction. At PayPal, I designed secure, compliant payment flows across global markets. I helped unify interaction patterns for mobile and web platforms, ensuring PSD2/KYC/AML compliance while also enhancing the UX. I worked closely with accessibility teams to ensure compliance with WCAG guidelines, and I delivered comprehensive UI documentation and responsive prototypes using Figma, Sketch, and Adobe CC.My early experience at MapmyIndia gave me exposure to complex data-rich environments, where I designed navigation systems and fleet dashboards. I later extended this into enterprise logistics and financial ecosystems at Nagarro and Pine Labs, where I led design systems, mentored UX teams, and developed workflows for credit, loyalty, and commerce platforms.Beyond product design, I am a passionate UX educator and mentor. I’ve been a long-standing mentor with Springboard and Texas McCombs School of Business, guiding over 300 students in topics ranging from design thinking and usability testing to research strategy and interface design. I’ve also collaborated with academic institutions like ImaginXP and CollegeDekho to design and deliver UI/UX curricula to undergraduate and postgraduate students. What sets me apart is my hybrid skill set—my ability to think strategically about product direction while delivering tactical, hands-on design artifacts that developers and stakeholders can act on. I thrive in fast-paced, agile environments, and I value transparent communication and shared ownership. I work closely with product owners, developers, engineers, and business leaders to ensure the UX strategy aligns with both user needs and organizational goals.I also bring expertise in systems thinking and UX governance. I’ve created component libraries, standardized interaction patterns, and contributed to scaling design systems that ensure consistency across growing product ecosystems. I’m comfortable working on both greenfield initiatives and refactoring legacy systems, always aiming to balance innovation with user familiarity. My tools of choice include Figma, Miro, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, and Axure. I’m experienced in using Jira, Confluence, Notion, and Trello for agile collaboration, and I have working knowledge of HTML/CSS to ensure clean design handoffs.I believe that design is not just about pixels—it’s about how we shape experiences that influence behavior and solve real problems. Whether I’m building a UX architecture for an enterprise tool or mentoring a young designer through their first prototype, my goal is always the same: to foster clarity, empathy, and progress through design. In the coming years, I aim to continue growing as a UX leader—helping organizations scale user experience maturity, aligning product and design teams with long-term strategy, and mentoring the next generation of thoughtful, empathetic designers.
